Recently, we set out on a scouting mission to the East of Iceland, searching for new terrain to elevate our snowbiking adventures. What we found exceeded every expectation.

Every winter, travellers land in Iceland searching for a specific kind of magic. They want to witness the glaciers, stand inside a crystal ice cave, chase the Northern Lights, or power through the tundra in a Super Jeep. But if you ask us what feels the most alive, what leaves you with the widest smile and the most visceral memory of the Arctic, our answer is always Snowbiking.

When you book a dirt bike or snowbike trip in Iceland, you might expect a standard "follow the leader" tour, staying in a single-file line on a pre-set path. But after years of guiding for the big tour companies, we realized that the "standard route" often gets in the way of a great story. That’s why we started Arctic Trailblazers. We wanted to create something deeply personal and more flexible for our guests.

Adventure riding, whether it’s enduro or snowbiking, hasn’t always felt like a space built for women. It can look intimidating from the outside. Fast. Technical. Male-dominated. We get that. Because Eva has felt it firsthand. And it’s one of the reasons she built Arctic Trailblazers the way it is today, together with Óskar. From the beginning, this was never meant to be just another tour company.

Snowbiking in Iceland isn’t just about speed or adrenaline (although there’s plenty of that).
