Welcome to Arctic Trailblazers, your adventure partner for Enduro Motorbiking and Snowbiking days in Iceland. Before participating in our tours, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions, as they govern the relationship between you (the participant) and Arctic Trailblazers.

 

1. Tour Participation

 

1.1. For Enduro Motorbiking tours all participants must be at least 18 years old and possess avalid heavy motorcycle licence. For Snowbike tours, participants must be at least 16 years old.

 

1.2. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the required physical and mental fitness to participate in the tour. You must disclose any medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect your ability to safely participate.

 

2. Safety and Liability

 

2.1. Safety is our top priority. All participants must adhere to the instructions of the tour guidesand follow safety guidelines at all times during the tour.

 

2.2. Arctic Trailblazers reserves the right to suspend or terminate the tour for any participantwho fails to comply with safety regulations or poses a danger to themselves or others.

 

2.3. Participating in our tours involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, or property damage. Participants agree to undertake the tour at their own risk and release Arctic Trailblazers, its staff, and associates from any liability arising from participation.

 

3. Booking and Payment

 

3.1. All tour bookings are subject to availability. To secure your spot, a deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking.

 

3.2. In the event of a cancellation due to weather and not being able to ride at all, we will try to reschedule your ride day. If this is not possible, we will refund your payment.

 

3.3. The remaining balance must be paid before the tour's commencement.

 

4. Cancellations and Refunds

 

4.1. Cancellations made by participants:

• Cancellations made 60 days or more before the tour date: 100% refund.

• Cancellations made 30-60 days before the tour date: 50% refund.

• Cancellations made 30 days or less of the tour date: no refund.

 

4.2. Cancellations by Arctic Trailblazers: In the rare event that we need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer alternative dates or provide a full refund, including the deposit.

 

4.3. Arctic Trailblazers shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the participant due to tour cancellations.

 

5. Tour Changes and Itinerary

 

5.1. Arctic Trailblazers reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary, including routes based on weather conditions, safety concerns, or any other factors that may affect the tour's quality or safety.

 

5.2. Participants understand that off-road motorbiking and snowbiking tours in Iceland are subject to unpredictable weather and terrain conditions, which may impact the tour experience.

 

6. Insurance

 

6.1. Participants are responsible for obtaining their own comprehensive travel insurance that covers adventure activities, medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.

 

7. Equipment and Gear

 

7.1. Arctic Trailblazers will provide necessary equipment, safety gear and clothing required for the tour. Participants are responsible for ensuring that all provided gear fits correctly and is used appropriately during the tour.

 

7.2. Upon arrival the renter will sign a disclaimer taking all responsibility for any damage to bike or gear incurred by the renter. The renter is given time prior to his ride to inspect the bike and gear to note any prior issues/damage.

 

7.3. The renter is responsible for the safety of himself, others around him, other people’s equipment, and our equipment. There is no guarantee of safety for the day, please ride responsibly.

 

8. Environmental Responsibility

 

8.1. We prioritise environmental sustainability. Participants must follow "Leave No Trace" principles during the tour and avoid damaging the natural surroundings.

 

8.2. No littering is allowed during the tour. Participants are responsible for disposing of waste appropriately.

 

9. Photography and Media

 

9.1. Arctic Trailblazers may take photographs, videos, or other media during the tour for promotional purposes. Participants grant Arctic Trailblazers the right to use such media without any compensation or notification.

 

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

 

10.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Iceland.

 

By participating in our Enduro Motorbiking and Snowbiking tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
