You’ve probably heard about the Golden Circle in Iceland, and since you’re here, you already know it’s the most popular day tour in the country. Normally, you’d rent a car and drive in circles yourself, or hop on a big bus tour and slowly lose the will to live. Both options: deadly boring.

But not anymore.

For the first time ever, you can do the Golden Circle on two wheels. We’ve launched two brand-new day tours with fixed routes. Mondays are for the Golden Circle tour, and Tuesdays are for the Lava Circle tour. Each day tour has only five spots, not because we’re bad at math, but because we want the groups small. That way, everyone still gets that “private tour” feeling… just with a few new riding buddies who also like doing cool things.

Both the Golden Circle and the Lava Circle day tours are made for intermediate riders, the pace is relaxed, the trails are fun, and nothing is too technical. And if it ever does get a bit too hard, don’t worry, we’re right there to give you a push!!

We avoid tarmac like Icelanders avoid paying full price for anything, but on a few of stretches there’s simply no way around it.

On the Golden Circle Tour, you’ll hit the classics, the mighty Gullfoss waterfall and Strokkur, the geyser that erupts so regularly it puts your morning alarm clock to shame. Þingvellir is a bit too far for our route, so instead we’ll visit the beautiful Brúarhlöð canyon, the Haukadalur forest, and the lovely Faxi waterfall. On the way, we’ll ride a mix of trails and stop at plenty of viewpoints to soak in the dramatic Icelandic scenery, and to inhale as much fresh Icelandic air as your lungs can handle

The Lava Circle is a day tour in Þjórsárdalur, a stunning valley in South Iceland tucked between Mount Búrfell and the Fjallabak region. It’s basically nature, history, and geology all crammed into one compact adventure playground. Waterfalls? Check. Ancient ruins? Check. Epic views that make you question why you ever look at screens? Double check. We will explore Hjálparfoss and Háifoss, one of the tallest waterfalls in Iceland. We'll also visit Gjáin, a green canyon full of tiny waterfalls, and Stöng which is the excavated remains of a Viking-age farm wiped out by Hekla’s 1104 eruption. We'll cross a dam as it's kind a cool, right and take on plenty more scenic trails. Who knows, you might be lucky enough to see some Icelandic horses even!

And if you can’t decide between the two day rides… just take them both! Problem solved. Or, even better, book a private ride with us and we’ll take you deeper into the highlands, where the landscapes get wilder, the views get bigger, and there’s basically magic everywhere you look.
