Why We Believe the Best Iceland Adventures Begin with a Conversation

At Arctic Trailblazers, we believe a great riding experience starts long before you turn the key and head into the Icelandic Highlands.

It starts with getting to know you.

We specialise in private, guided enduro motorcycle and snowbike adventures in Iceland. No two riders are the same, and neither are the experiences we create. Some guests want to challenge themselves on technical terrain, while others prefer a relaxed day exploring remote landscapes, discovering hidden places and enjoying the freedom of riding in Iceland's extraordinary nature.

Our job is to understand what you're looking for and shape the experience around you.

That's why we choose to work directly with our guests rather than rely on third-party booking platforms.

More than a booking confirmation

When you book directly with us, we have the opportunity to talk before you arrive. We can learn about your riding background, the kind of terrain you enjoy, your confidence level and what you'd most like to get out of your time in Iceland.

Are you an experienced enduro rider looking for challenging Highland tracks? Do you prefer flowing trails, scenic routes and plenty of time to take in the landscape? Perhaps you're travelling with friends whose riding abilities and ambitions differ.

These details matter.

The more we understand about you, the better we can plan your day. We can discuss route options, adjust the pace, consider the group's experience and take your personal wishes into account. We can also talk through the practicalities, from Iceland's unpredictable weather to what you should expect from a day on the bike.

This conversation helps us find the right balance between adventure, comfort and challenge, so you arrive knowing what to expect and we have a much better idea of how to make your experience special.

Your ride, your way

We don't believe in simply taking every guest along the same route and following a fixed schedule.

Iceland's Highlands offer an incredible variety of landscapes and riding conditions, and part of the appeal is having the flexibility to make the most of them. Weather, trail conditions, riding ability and personal preferences all influence how we plan our adventures.

Perhaps there's a particular landscape you've dreamed of seeing. Maybe you want to spend more time riding and less time stopping, or you'd rather take it slowly, enjoy the scenery and discover places you wouldn't find on your own.

We want to know.

By talking before your arrival, we can build a clearer picture of the adventure you're imagining and work towards creating an experience that feels personal rather than standardised.

Of course, the final route always depends on weather, trail access and safety. But within those boundaries, we value the freedom to adapt.

Small, personal and run by riders

Arctic Trailblazers is a small, owner-operated business run by us, Eva and Óskar. Riding isn't simply the product we sell; it's something we're genuinely passionate about.

That personal connection is an important part of what we offer. When you ride with us, you're not just booking a motorcycle and a guide. You're spending a day with people who know the terrain, understand the machines and want to share the places and experiences that make riding in Iceland so special.

Getting to know our guests beforehand also helps us build trust. You can ask questions, tell us what matters to you and feel comfortable discussing your experience and expectations before you arrive.

For us, that is part of providing a high-quality, personal service.

What if you book through a hotel or travel partner?

We also work with selected high-end hotels and trusted travel partners, including Hótel Rangá and Iceland Moments. These partnerships allow more travellers to discover our adventures and help us create memorable experiences for guests who prefer to plan their Iceland trip with professional assistance.

However, the personal conversation remains just as important, regardless of how you find us.

If your booking comes through a hotel concierge or one of our travel partners, we make sure to connect with you directly before your arrival. We want to understand your riding experience, discuss your wishes and answer your questions just as we would with someone who booked through our website.

The booking channel may be different, but the care we put into planning your ride is not.

A more personal way to experience Iceland

For us, choosing direct bookings is about more than managing reservations. It's about protecting the personal nature of what we do.

We want to know who's coming, what excites them about riding in Iceland and what would make their day truly memorable. We want you to feel that your adventure has been planned with you in mind, not simply selected from a catalogue.

Because the best experiences aren't always the ones that follow a predetermined plan. They're the ones that leave room for individual wishes, local knowledge and the freedom to make the most of the day.

If you're considering an enduro or snowbike adventure in Iceland, we'd love to hear what you have in mind.

Tell us a little about yourself, your riding experience and the adventure you're dreaming of.

We'll take it from there.
