Everything You Need to Know Before Heading into the Highlands of Iceland
For riders, this remote interior is the ultimate playground: endless volcanic landscapes, black deserts stretching toward massive glaciers, mountain tracks carved through untouched wilderness, and some of the most unique riding conditions you will ever experience.
At Arctic Trailblazers, we spend our seasons riding these landscapes, exploring new routes, monitoring trail conditions, and adapting every adventure to the reality of the Highlands on that specific day.

The Ultimate Guide to Enduro Riding in Iceland: When to Ride the Highlands & Everything You Need to Know
Unlike many destinations where riding takes place on established trail networks, Iceland's Highlands feel genuinely wild. Every ride is shaped by weather, changing river crossings, volcanic terrain, and the constantly evolving landscape. No two days are ever the same.

Why Iceland Is One of the World's Best Destinations for Dirt Biking
Few places in the world offer such dramatic variety in a single day's ride.
One moment you're crossing ancient lava fields, the next you're climbing through colourful mountains, crossing glacier-fed rivers or riding across endless black sand plains. Every corner reveals something new.
It's no surprise that many riders say Iceland feels more like another planet than another country.

Your riding style, expectations for the day, and maybe a few fun stories from the road. The goal: make sure everyone feels totally at ease and ready for an epic day out. By around 10am, we hit the road (or the trail, technically). No two days are ever the same, we choose the perfect route based on the season, weather
